2010 Incentives and Awards
Team Awards
Every season, coaches recognize a group of swimmers on the summer swim team for outstanding achievement across a variety of measures such as dedication, improvement, leadership and points scored.
Swimmer Recognition
All swimmers have the opportunity to earn awards based on performance and effort.
Ribbons
All meet participants earn ribbons at meets. Ribbons are filed and kept in swimmer’s folders. Ribbons may be picked up at the first practice following each meet.
No Breather Club
Swimmer completes one 25/50 w/o breathing at practice or at a meet
Winners highlighted at practice.
Pop Time Awards
Swimmer “pops” (beats their best time) their time from dual meet to dual meet excluding VSA and Blackhawk Relay Meet. Awards are placed in folders at pool deck.
Swimmer of the Meet
One swimmer per meet.
Star Patch Awards
Swimmers earn a Star Patch by achieving the posted Star Patch racer time in any given stroke. See Time Standards for Racer times by stroke.
